ESUT Students Set to Embark on Protest Over School Fees Deadline

Students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology has raised awareness over the recent school fees deadline set by the school.esut-students-protest

A memo which dated 12th October was sent out to the university community by the registrar, Leonard O. Khama.

The letter comes just 4 days after school resumption and mandated students to pay their fees of #124,900 on or before 26th October 2018.

According to the school registrar, late payment which attracts a penalty of #10,000 will Comment on the 29th of October and after t00 the following week, 6th of November.

Students of the institution have taken to various social media platform, to vent their dissatisfaction in the new system. The students revealed that late payment initially commenced by the second week of January and not this early.

To make their plight known, many of the students said they will go as far as conducting a peaceful protest to the government house, to inform the state governor, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwanyi of the new development, and that something must be done to revoke the deadline.
