Chinedu Eya Shakes off pressure to dump PDP, Describes Ugwuanyi as “Governor for Peace.”
Former Enugu North Senatorial Aspirant, under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Chinedu Eya has pleaded with different Political Parties across the country to accept his withdrawal from the 2019 election as a well thought-out decision, geared towards serving the general interest of the zone, as defecting to another political party, as they were demanding, to enable him realize his dream of being senator in 2019 “is not an option and never under his consideration.”
The PDP chieftain explained that as a nation wide convener of “Why it must be PDP in 2019”, a PDP’s affiliate body with wide membership across the 36 states of the federation, he cannot afford to dump the same party he has contributed immensely in building for another political party, as that will cast aspersions on his hard-earned integrity as a committed and core member of the Party.
In a statement by his media adviser, Gwiyi Solomon, Chief Eya appreciated the political Parties for reposing their trust and confidence in him while urging them to see reasons with his withdrawal from the race and insistence on sticking to PDP.
Chief Eya also commended the Governor of the State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for ensuring “peace and unimaginable cohesion in the PDP and Enugu state in general, while describing him as “Governor Peace and Father Peace” put together.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🇳🇬🍾 Love Reading Our Reports?
